We held a Yakiniku party to welcome the newly assigned students (currently second-year students) and to congratuate D3 student Fujiwara on his final defense.

Two students (currently second-year students) have applied to join our laboratory and will be assigned to it in April. Welcome to Biological Anthropology. M1 student Aritake-san is also very happy to have a junior. It looks like it's going to be lively. Study hard, do your research, and write a great graduation thesis.
Fujiwara-san made it through his doctoral defense and submitted his doctoral dissertation. We are nervous about whether his paper would be accepted by Primates in time, but in the end it all worked out perfectly. The final result has yet to be announced, but he did everything he could, so for now, well done.
The beef that was the main dish this time was a gift from Nakano-san. It was the Black Wagyu that his family butcher shop at Ishibashi highly recommends. It was beautiful. It was the best tasting. Thank you for the touching experience.
Shitara-san had such a good time with alcohol and he completely forgot about a half of it.
The smell of Yakiniku still fills the room. January was full of events and news in our lab.
